This is a beautiful oatmeal colored drop rim bowl, with some splashes of color and design, by the world renown US ceramic artist Warren Mackenzie, now deceased.

f you are unfamiliar with Mr. Mackenzie's work a quick internet search will fill you in on his illustrious career.  Mr. Mackenzie was one of the finest potters that has ever lived in the US.  His functional work is what defined the Mingeisota pottery movement. Mr. Mackenzie was an apprentice of Bernard Leach.  Mr. Mackenzie's work is always beautifully done, a pleasure to look at, and also always functional.
This drop rim bowl is expertly done and has beautiful design elements.  The piece has never been used and is in new, unused condition.
The drop rim bowl is 3.9"H X 8.8"W.  This was made during the time Mr. Mackenzie's was not stamping his work, but I bought the piece directly from him in his studio.
