Warren Mackenzie - Studio Pottery - Tall Sculpted Multi-Colored Vase - 17 1/4"

This is a gorgeous sculpted multi-colored vase by the highly respected Minnesota ceramic artist Warren Mackenzie, now deceased.
If you are unfamiliar with Mr. Mackenzie's work a quick internet search will fill you in on his illustrious career.  Mr. Mackenzie was
one of the finest potters that has ever lived in the US.  His functional work is what defined the Mingeisota pottery movement.
Mr. Mackenzie was an apprentice of Bernard Leach.  Mr. Mackenzie's work is always beautifully done, a pleasure to look at, and
also always functional.
This very large vase is expertly done and has wonderful sculpted sides.  The piece has never been used
and is in new, unused condition.
This vase is not stamped by Mr. Mackenzie.
The teapot is 17.25"T, with handle X 6.25"W.
