Vintage Studio Art Pottery Low Bowl or Plate Japanese Geisha Woman, Mystery Artist
Being offered for your consideration is this vintage Studio Art Pottery raised sides, low Bowl or Plate featuring a hand painted Japanese Geisha woman against a fretwork with bamboo. The woman is wearing hair ornaments and a dark blue kimono. The outer sides of this heavy hand thrown stoneware piece has an attractive blue, blue-grey textured. It is marked with three initials on the underside that reads: "
I G X
". We do not know who the artist is, but the work is quite lovely.

Measurements
: The stoneware bowl measures approximately 10 inches across in diameter. It stands approximately 1-1/2 inches off the table. The bowl weighs approximately 2 lbs., 3 oz. All measurements are approximate, but close.
Condition
: We carefully examined this item. NO Chips, Cracks, Scratches, Stains, Repairs or Restorations were noted. There are about 3 very small nicks to the rim (see last photograph).
