Vintage Steampunk Industrial Machinery Tractor Farm roller Tensioner Antique

I'm a bit stumped on this one, but it's a neat little piece.  There are two rollers mounted in spring loaded brackets.  This allows them to be separated and wire, tube, twine or string gets run between them and is used to provide tension.  This could be from a hay baler or something similar(just a guess). It's old, has patina(rust), but is still functional and is neat conversation piece.  Will combine shipping or local pickup always works.
