    "This is the Thing from Canada" on each tankard.
    Glossy golden brown exterior glaze, glossy rich dark brown interior glaze.
    At bottom is a figure of a half-nude mermaid with reddish hair and green tail, saucily
    stretching
    with one arm over her head.
    CANADA marked on base.
    Early to mid 20th Century.
    No cracks, glossy glaze. One flake from bottom curve of one handle, see photos of cup upside down that is close up.
    Each weighs 1 pound.
    Height: 4-1/2 inches and tapers to top opening.
