    Description

    RARE Signed Neil Armstrong Gemini Hometown Homecoming Newspaper.
    Last year, I was fortunate enough, to have been able to purchase (along with a friend), a lifelong Neil Armstrong collection.
    This was not just any collection, but, that of a high school classmate, of Neil's.
    This classmate was involved in the 1966 parade, and most likely had this paper signed, then.
    The newspaper is dated the same day, as the first homecoming parade.
    Size, and condition, as shown.
    Frayed edges, and yellowing of paper.
    I have an image of the classmate's wife, with Neil Armstrong.   He is looking down, and it is my belief, he is doing so, while signing, this newspaper.
    Knowing the interest in Apollo 11 items peaks during the anniversary, of it, I usually list related items, around it.
    Today, as I was getting ready to take photos of some newspapers, I stumbled upon this.
    Guaranteed, to pass any 3rd party inspection.
    I have collected Neil Armstrong items, for many years.   This is definitely one of the best items, I have ever come across.
    Truly, a wonderful find, along with being a very unique item.
    It would make an excellent addition, to any collection.

    Side note :   This exact same thing happened, a few years ago.   I bought a Neil Armstrong high school yearbook, from 1946.   I took it outside, to take photos ( on July 18th, my nephew's birthday), and found his signature, in the back.  It was on the upper right hand corner, of the page.   I sold it, and it is now being offered by another seller.
