    Description

    Rare 1970’s large ceramic stoneware plaque by French studio ceramicists  Martine and Daniel Winter, from their atelier in the village of Teilhede in Auvergne in central France. Charming Alpine village tableau in a mosaic pattern, beautifully crafted and designed. Large and very heavy stoneware plaque, measuring 15.75” by 11.5”. Signed “Winter” in the plaque in the lower left corner, with the studio label on verso. In excellent condition save for some scattered light crazing. Metal tab for hanging on back.
