Hanging Tattered Witch Ghostie Art Doll
Hi there, and thank you for popping in!
This beautiful, tattered ghost will look hauntingly beautiful displayed in your home.
You will receive the lovely lady in the photos above.
The ghost's head and body were created from osnaburg muslin I hand-painted. She's about 50" long from the top of her witchy hat to the bottom of her tatters - the body and head alone are only about 7" long. Her face is about 4" across. She hangs by a sturdy threaded loop at the back. She's covered in several layers of billowy ivory tulle and heavily aged cheesecloth. There are holes, rips, and tears all over to make her appear old and tattered, a "Loved for a Hundred Years" look.
Her witchy hat is adorned with a bit of tattered cheesecloth and is securely stitched to her head. She carries a beautiful little lantern with a timer battery-operated
tea light
candle inside. Once switched on, the light will stay lit for six hours, turn off itself for 18, and turn back on at the same time each day. Paper roses, glittery stars, silver charms, and other lovely nonsense are glued or stitched throughout her tatters.
She is signed and dated.
The entire doll will be sprayed with a mist of gold micro glitter to give her a magical, ethereal sparkle. When the wind blows, the breeze catches her tatters and makes her seem to shimmer and float.
