Johnny Majors signed Autograph football 1978 Tennessee Volunteers Team Ball. This is your chance to own a part of Tennessee Football history. In Johnny Majors second year being the Tennessee vols head coach. I got this amazing part of history from the President of marketing for the quarterback club in Alabama. He pasted away a couple of years ago I bought it from his wife. It’s been in my personal collection for a couple of years now. I decided to part ways with it so it can go to a Tennessee fans home. So I found out it was a 1978 team ball base on the fact that it has Kevin Steele autograph. The former DC for Auburn, and LSU he played on the team in 1978 and 1979. Bobby Roper signed the ball as well. Roper was only with the team for 2 years this being his last. So I came to the conclusion that it was a 78 team ball as stated because that was the only time they were both on the team. There are some conditions issues with the ball as the ball was thrown in a trash bag in the back of his closet for many years until discovered by his wife. The bladder doesn’t hold any air at all. Which that can be fix there are may places you can send it in to. The ball can sit up on its own. This is extremely rare piece of history as we know the ball was signed in only his second year of being head coach. This is a wonderful autograph and the holy grail for a Tennessee fan.
