Please note that all of our pressbook images are scanned directly from the pressbook up for auction. Scans allow you to see every imperfection if there are any, which is why we chose to scan our images rather than photograph them.   This collection has been of the utmost importance to me and has been stored in a temperature controlled room for many years in a non-smoking home with 2 Hepa air filters and in the summer 2 industrial dehumidifiers, each item inside a protective bag. When scanning pressbooks, almost all of the images inside were printed to be "newspaper ready." Newspapers use a larger dot image to make up a photo or advertisement, so while scanning them for viewing here, some images look like there may be light lines or dots on faces and other parts of an image, please note this is a result of scanning, the actual images do not have that effect. Finally, you may wonder why many of our scans (pictures of the product) state in pink letters "PHOTO FOR EBAY" over some of the images. I have discovered that there were people copying these images and enlarging them and making prints to auction. So to prevent this illegal activity, we are forced to put some print over some of the better images, these statements are not on the items themselves.

Pressbook is uncut. Pressbook has NEVER BEEN FOLDED, so there are no fold lines through all of the beautiful graphics.
Spine completely intact, pin-size stain on front cover (top right) above the "Y" in the first word (see photo), this pressbook is in excellent shape except for a pressbook this old... VERY light creasing (very minimal).
This pressbook is printed on a beautiful glossy paper. ALL pressbooks and posters are studio originals, WE DO NOT SELL COPIES OR REPRODUCTIONS!

This auction includes an original studio half sheet poster (22" x 28") from the film
(see last photo)! This poster is NOT a copy or reproduction but a studio original. While pressbooks are my main business, I am now including other movie collectibles  that I have amassed over the years. The pressbook in all of our auctions is the main item because that is my specialty. I do not grade or describe the condition of the posters as I am not an expert on movie posters, stills or lobby cards, it is up to you to study the photo as to the poster's condition. We guarantee that the photo posted here is a direct photo of the poster included (the poster image can be enlarged). Some posters have some kind of defect  whether it might be pinholes or writing on the back, blemishes, tears, creases, taped areas, an area with a rippled effect (probably from dampness, which can usually be seen on the scans, but not always) so please look very carefully as most of these have been used by theaters. On the other hand as I look through these, some are in great condition as well and a few look like they were never used. So it is up to you to study the photo.

ABOUT SHIPPING:
Our shipping charge includes the pressbook mailed
securely between 3 sheets of brand new strong cardboard which we custom order. It also includes a plastic collectible sealed bag which you can use to store your pressbook. If you order more than one pressbook, each will come with the protective bag.

ABOUT ME:
I have been a movie fan all of my life, my grandfather worked for both Universal and RKO, and my mother was an editor at Paramount. At age 8 I was taken to my grandfather's offices and saw piles of movie pressbooks stacked up.  I have collected since I was 8. Over the years, when I obtained a pressbook, it would immediately go into a plastic bag and was taped shut so no air would get in. This was after I unfolded them, if they were folded.  My father owned a furniture store which his father opened in 1900, which I worked at for 10 years and the first and most important thing he taught me was customer relations, to treasure each and every customer, so I am an old-fashioned seller who cares about each customer and their being happy with anything I sell, a "mom and pop" type store. I am ALWAYS available to talk about anything you might be interested in from my store or our transaction and I check my Ebay mail almost every 2 hours during the day.
