Followers are used to press curds in a hoop (mould). Made of commercial food grade HDPE cutting board plastic, these followers fit perfectly into our Traditional and Brie size hoops(moulds). Though you can use them with your own moulds. Make note that soft cheeses like Camembert and Brie do not need followers.

Compact and thoroughly designed construction allows receiving a good-looking wheel of aged cheese
of up to 2,2 lb at the plant as well as at home.
The mold with follower
is used to accelerate pressing of cheese grain, make semi-hard and hard
cheese. The mold construction is designed for loads to be applied to the plunger form the cheese
wheel and drain whey.
