A Superb Quality COMPENSATED Bone Nut for Your Jazz Bass
Hello again from AxeMasters. Many modern design bass guitars are utilizing a "compensated" nut design.  The design helps with intonation and tuning.  The idea started with 6 string guitars and is now migrating to the 4 string bass.  We are happy to offer our Compensated Nut in BONE as a direct drop-in replacement for your Jazz bass nut.
Bone is a wonderful nut material as it adds a woody richness to your bass tone.
And nut slot wear issues are eliminated since bone is so tough.
Our nut is hand ground and sanded from solid Bone and round-slotted for perfect string placement. Then we file the compensation grooves to the proper depth for each string.  All hand-made - no machines.  Fits any JAZZ  bass utilizing the flat-bottom nut design.  Length 1.5", height .19", thickness .12".
