Description

Antique Primitive Wood Banded Butter Churn W/Dasher. This primitive churn is 18 1/2” tall and 30 1/2” to top of dasher handle. It’s also almost 10” across bottom and 7 3/4” across top. It is very solid. Looks like at one time it was reinforced with some real thin looking nails as you look down inside but they only start about half way down, probably to reinforce the wood bands from slipping. You can see the natural age from wear on the churn dasher handle from use all thru the years. I don’t know if the lid is one that was originally on it or not but could be. One of the prettiest ones I have had in over my 35 years of collecting and buying and selling. Shipped with USPS Mail. Thanks for looking !!
