This early c. mid 1800's HAND HELD SHAVING HANGING VANITY MIRROR measures approximately 5 1/4"w (frame to frame) x 11 3/8"h.  Contoured metal frame securely holding the beveled glass mirror that measures approximately 3 1/2"w x 5 1/2"h.  Firmly attached contoured black wooden handle for ease of use but could also be hung with handle at top  Original embossed black paper on back and remnants of black paint on metal swing frame. No maker's mark.  This early vanity piece shows no random holes, cracks, chips, broken, missing or repaired parts.  Some expected age related surface/edge wear as shown in photos.  A GREAT addition to any ANTIQUE  SHAVING MIRROR/WALL MOUNT MIRROR/PRIMITIVE DECORATING collection!  Buyer pays shipping costs.  Please check my other auctions for MORE interesting items!
