Antique Old Paint Decorated Miniature Chest Virginia Yellow Folk Art 19thc AAFA

Description

Up for your consideration is a Sweet 19th century miniature mustard yellow chest with sunbursts on the ends and birds on the front.  There is a Girls name inside with New Market Virginia under it.  This has just the best surface and was surely made for a special child.  Bootjack ends little leather strap hinges that have broken and a make do leather hasp.  You don't see little jewels like this anymore and in this Yellow.  If you love primitives and folk art check out my other auctions this week.  I'm selling everything off clearing out my office and garage.  I have all kinds of Unique Antiques and Folk Art.  See photos for condition like i said the leather hinges got brittle and broke so please be aware of that.  Thanks and Take Care.
