Antique Hogscraper Hog Scraper Candlestick Dates from 1870's

Description

This hog scraper candlestick belonged to my great grandmother who passed it down through the generations. Her son, my grandfather was born in 1900, so that is how I am calculating the date.
We have decided to downsize and our children aren't interested in antiques so, this is something I decided to let someone else enjoy this amazing piece.
I don't know much more about it, except that it has been in my family for about 125+ years.
This piece is about 4 1/4" tall, and 7" wide by 5 3/4" deep.  The "plunger" works and goes up and down easily, there is a small rounded handle on the side to carry it.  It does have some dings but has been well-loved in our family.
I have never seen another quite like this one, but not really sure if it is unique.
