We're very happy to offer our Brass Nut Shim Set for setting the proper nut height on Epiphone and other makes that use the 1/4" thick nut.  Measuring 1/4" wide, 1/32" thick by 1 1/2" long, the shim rests nicely in the neck slots - guitar and bass.
The length of 1 1/2" will rest securely under any common nut length.  And a thickness of 1/32" provides a significant amount of lift for most nuts that are resting too low.  Plus you can
stack as many shims as you like

We offer brass because it won't compress, it transfers sound energy very efficiently from the nut to the neck and it adds a bit of it's own clear tone in the process.
