This description is a little bit long, yes. But please at least scroll through it before bidding.
For auction
One lot of 22+ 8mm home movies, film on reels.
We have not tested or viewed these reels, so it's hard to say exactly what is on them.
CONTENT:
Approx half of the reels are in original processors bags, with hand written labeling. By this labeling, it's a good guess that many of these reels are from Philmont Scout Ranch in the 1970s, with other reels showing Boy Scouts and related subject (Including some LDS/Mormon content.)
Transcription of this labeling is printed below.
The other half (approx) have no labeling, so it's anyone's guess what exactly is on these reels.
These films were purchased as a lot in Southern Oregon some years ago. The processor's envelopes indicate that the film was developed in Salem, Oregon.
I have also added a couple of unrelated reels that I found in my inventory.
CONDITION:
Film reels are in good used condition, with some wear. (One reel seems to have had something sticky spilled on it. The rest are much cleaner.)
The great majority of these are in plastic 8mm film canisters.
These have been kept cool for the past few years, to prevent possible vinegar syndrome.
