I'm sorry, I don't have an actual picture of these blanks yet.
These blanks measure
2" x 3/16" x 3/4"
You just need to cut them in half long ways to get the bass blanks!  This will leave you with 3/8" tall bass nut blanks! Or, very close too it, which is still going to be plenty of brass for carving a nut for any 4 or 5 string electric bass guitar.
Please measure for what you need.
These are BLANKS! You will need to shape the brass into a functional nut, which would include carving string slots! Yes, that has been a problem! ;)
These blanks are a great alternative to a plastic lap steel nut. You will need to carve nut slots. Just use an existing nut as a string distance gauge. Fill your plastic nut cavity with some epoxy. That will keep you from crushing it when you put it into your vice along with your lap steel blank. Then you can use a marker and a straight edge to mark for your string slots.
3/4" should leave you with at least a 1/2" of string height above your fret board. But, you can cut this down to any height you want. If you feel you need other dimensions, please let me know. I have it!
